The Skoll Centre for Social Entrepreneurship has announced the formation of a new Advisory Board to guide and enhance its strategic direction. Comprising distinguished professionals and experts across various fields, the board will help bridge theory and practice, advancing the Centre’s mission through actionable research insights and learning programmes that empower social impact leaders worldwide.
Advisory Board Members
The newly appointed board includes:
Professor Soumitra Dutta – Peter Moores Dean and Professor of Management, Saïd Business School, University of Oxford; Fellow of Balliol College, Oxford.
Professor Marya Besharov – Professor of Organisations and Impact; Academic Director, Skoll Centre for Social Entrepreneurship.
Professor Alex Nicholls – Professor of Social Entrepreneurship, Saïd Business School; Co-founder, Skoll Centre for Social Entrepreneurship.
Dr. Mary Johnstone-Louis – Senior Fellow in Management Practice, Saïd Business School.
Professor Jonathan Michie – Professor of Innovation and Knowledge Exchange, University of Oxford; President, Kellogg College.
Tara Sabre Collier – Climate and PSE Lead, Chemonics International; Skoll Scholar alum.

Board’s Role and Commitment
The Advisory Board will convene twice a year to provide strategic guidance, strengthen networks, and assess programme impact. Additionally, members will act as ambassadors for the Centre, fostering collaboration and building relationships to help drive systemic change.
With the launch of the Advisory Board, the Skoll Centre continues to advance its mission— to equip entrepreneurial leaders to catalyse social impact within and beyond business.
