Equipping impact leaders

Over the past 20 years, the Skoll Centre has developed transformational learning experiences for students at the University of Oxford and around the world, equipping them with the mindsets and skills needed for catalysing systemic social change.

Our programmes cultivate reflective, empathic leaders who create positive impact within and beyond business. Through systems thinking, social innovation, and entrepreneurship courses, as well as leadership development programmes, we have reached over 5,000 postgraduate students at Oxford and over 15,000 students globally.

The Skoll Scholarship

The Skoll Scholarship provides funding for social innovators who are interested in undertaking an MBA to enhance and broaden their skills for more effective social change.

In addition to financial support, Skoll Scholars benefit from being part of the vibrant Skoll Scholar community, which offers opportunities for lifelong learning and connection with other social innovators. 91% of Skoll Scholars have gone on to start a new social venture or initiative.

Learning labs

A new initiative, Skoll Centre Learning Labs will offer practice-oriented learning around leading, organising, measuring, and scaling impact, based on the insights emerging from our research-practice initiatives and our global community of affiliates and partners.

Short half-day sessions will be offered to students at Oxford, with multi-day labs offered to individuals and organisations globally. Sessions will incorporate and build on existing programmes that we have launched and developed, including the Circular and Regenerative Economy Lab and the Omidyar Group Climate Lab.
